Lentil Broth & Herb Immunity Infusion

A savory, nourishing broth-style infusion rather than a conventional tea. Roasted lentils provide body and plant protein while herbs and vegetables create an earthy, warming flavor. It supports nutrition and hydration rather than directly treating infection.

Traditionally used for

Fatigue; poor appetite; digestive sluggishness; cold-weather discomfort

Potential benefits

Hydration; nutritional support; antioxidant support; warming comfort

Ingredients

Roasted lentils, ginger, turmeric, garlic, parsley, thyme, lemon peel

Origin

Asia, Mediterranea

How it is traditionally prepared

2 Tbsp roasted lentils + herbs/16 oz water or vegetable broth, simmer 20–25 minutes and strain. 1–2 cups daily.

Cautions and who should avoid it

Lentils may cause gas or bloating. Garlic and turmeric may interact with blood-thinning medicines at concentrated amounts. Not a substitute for medical treatment of infections.
